Our restaurant Jostefonn
Sit down in our restaurant and let your eyes feast upon the fjord and mountain landscape surrounding it. You can even see a small piece of the Jostedalsbreen Glacier, called Jostefonn. We think the magnificent view and sense of place might make the local food taste even better.
In our restaurant we offer local and traditional courses, and house specialties based on local ingredients - and we really do try to keep our food as local as possible.
Being a small hotel, we take pride in helping other small and local businesses in our communtiy thrive - making sure we help each other grow stronger.
On our menu you will find, smoked salmon from the Sognefjord, the house burger made from local Deer or lambs meat from Grøndalen Valley - close to Jostedalsbreen Glacier.
Opening hours
Our restaurant Jostefonn is open for dinner service from 6pm to 9pm every night during summer season.
Our menu is an a la carte and some evenings we offer a three course menu.
During off season we sometimes host special events, such as a special chefs table with the chefs from Matgal.
