Hiking & lunch- Kløyvd 405 masl
You don´t have to walk far to enjoy amazing views from our hotel. This hike takes you to a lovely look out point with views towards Balestrand, Esefjorden and the gorgeous mountains. This is a fabulous hike all year round.
Hike a marked trail or follow the gravel road. If you bring good shoes, a good mood, a backpack and a bottle of water, we will bring the food. Enjoy home made pastries, local drink and a healthy surprise. Duration: 1-3 hours

Our history
We would love to share our history. The family farm turned guesthouse and hotel.
Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 6pm -6.30pm in our gazebo.
Your hosts will tell you the story going all the way back to 1953 - when there were no roads and the buildings housed farm animals.

Enjoy a private place by the fjord.
Breathe in, be yourself and enjoy the view alone or with your very best friend in the world.
If you book a comfort room at the hotel, you also reserve a private location by the fjord and with the best view you can imagine. You will find lounge chairs for two, cold/hot drinks and blankets for those colder days.
If you desire a picnic basket, it can be arranged on request.

Swim in Sognefjorden - all year
We have a question for you? Do you have what it takes to dive into the Sognefjord all year round? No matter the weather?
We promise to stand by with thick woolen socks and something warm to drink - so it is all up to you! Bring a basket with woolen socks, towels and a thick dressing gown to keep warm when you get back up. We will warm up the gazebo for you if the weather is extra challenging.

Tjugatoten with lunch - 1098 masl
Hike from the hotel and up to Tjugatoten 1098 masl. This is a well marked trail for experienced hikers.
If you bring good shoes, a good mood, a backpack and a bottle of water, we will bring the food. Enjoy home made pastries, local drink and a healthy surprise.
From the summit you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Sognefjord splitting into four branches - and of course the steep mountains on all sides.

3 summits, 3000m , 3 days
Do you collect summits? Get your heart going and see Balestrand from above. This hiking adventure takes you to Radumelen (978 masl), Tjugatoten (1098 masl) and last, but surely not least, Keipen at 1421 masl. The hike to Keipen even traverse a small glacier - Bjørnabreen.

Activities close to us
ABORETUM
The Aboretum is a small park, just a short walk from the hotel by the old and magnificent vicars garden. Here you will find trees that are over 200 years old with origins from the southern part of the world.
ENAMEL WORKSHOP
15 minutes away from the hotel, at Skrovlene, you will find the enamel workshop owned by Mr. and Mrs. Haukaas. The workshop is open every weekday. As a guest at our hotel you are welcome outside opening hours. Read more here.
HIKING TO SUMMITS NEAR BY
With Dragsvik hotel as your starting point you can reach many a summit by foot. One of the marked route highlights is “Mastene” and Tjuatoten at 1098 masl. Both the summits offer panoramic views over the fjord landscape. You will find more routes on the Balestrand map for hikers.
HIKING - WALKING
Right by the hotel you will find low key walks and hikes that will take you down to the fjord or closer to the mountains. In the afternoon, just being outdoors looking at the special fjord light is quite the experience. Klibberg nature trail is an easy access walk close by that will reconnect you to the outdoors.
